This paper suggests that Kant's apparent anti-innatism is undermined by a closer look at the targets of the famous passage at B167-8. It is claimed that Kant's opposition to Crusius (and t0 a lesser degree to Leibniz) informs this passage, but does not support a broad anti-innatism on Kant's part. On the contrary, Kant's response can be viewed as hinged upon his adoption of a type of dispositional innatism.
